Duties Take and deliver drink and food orders accurately using POS system, ensuring seamless transactions. Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and recommending drinks or dishes to enhance their experience. Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine, friendly approach. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist in food preparation or garnishing as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Support opening or closing duties such as setting up the bar area, restocking supplies, and completing shift reports. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars. Strong knowledge of POS systems ; experience with Toast and OpenTable is a plus. Demonstrated ability in guest relations, serving, bussing, and host/hostess roles within the food industry. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations essential for maintaining high-quality service.. Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling accurately. Familiarity with hospitality tools like Food industry terminology, Upselling techniques, Food safety practices, and Customer service excellence.
