Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a welcoming attitude Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems , ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to assist guests in making informed choices Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices are followed at all times Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up or cleaning tables and workstations Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast and Toast Table is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Experience in food preparation or kitchen settings is beneficial but not required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences!
