Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to upsell specials and enhance guest experience Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Handle cash transactions, process payments securely, and give correct change using basic math skills Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and dining areas through bussing and sanitation practices Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, ensuring food safety standards are met Engage with guests to foster guest relations, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned, including inventory checks and setup or breakdown of service areas Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing time effectively Food handling certification and adherence to sanitation standards required Previous experience with upselling techniques to increase sales revenue Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not mandatory Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor; previous host/hostess or cashiering experience is beneficial Join us in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences!
