Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Chef de Cuisine, Cook, Prep Cook, server or Dishwasher and become a vital part of delivering exceptional food experiences! In this role, you will contribute to the preparation, cooking, serving, answering phone calls that will keep our brand new brick and mortar operation running efficiently. Whether we're working on delicious a la carte meals, prepping catering and food for events or working for private chef clients, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills, gain valuable kitchen experience, get server experience and work in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and service. It is also an opportunity to work in a small restaurant where things don't ever get too crazy even in the Jersey Shore Summer months. We pay our servers a high hourly wage and you get to keep all of your tips! Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and menu plans Cook food items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and safety in all aspects of food service Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cookware efficiently Support catering events or special functions by assisting with food setup and serving as needed Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or issues Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to promote a safe working environment for everyone Serve tables with exceptional customer experience protocols. Become a part of our awesome team! Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable but not necessary. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation are preferred Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience working in restaurants or catering environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving others We value every team member's contribution and provide opportunities for growth within our kitchen community.
