Full Time /Part Time Position Summary Under the direction of the Assistant Managers and Captains, you will assist in the food and beverage service. You'll work closely with our team in a collaborative environment to serve in the Club's dining venues, banquets, and events. The food runner acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the wait staff. Carries food trays to appropriate tables and serves food to guests. Responsible for preparing service stations, clearing and resetting tables, removing all trays from the dining/banquet rooms and cleaning and closing service stations. About the

Essential Functions:

• Complete opening & closing food runner side duties.
• Maintain a clean & organized station.
• Polish plates and restock accordingly.
• Follows appropriate kitchen standards and safety procedures.
• Obtain and maintain a knowledge of all food menu items.
• Set up trays with menu items according to the correct order ticket. Organized and balanced.
• Carry out trays to the correct dining venue.
• Assist all servers and managers will deliver plates of food to the table if needed.
• Communicate special requests and allergies to Chefs.
• Perform calmy and effectively under pressure.
• Be able to perform in a fast-paced kitchen assuring proper menu items are being sent out correctly.
• Promote an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting other co-workers and managers.
• Safely transport items to and from kitchen to designated areas.
• Complete any other task as directed by management team.

Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:

• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

Physical and Environment Demands:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching Noise level is generally moderate but may be high during busy events or outings
