Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance to ensure a smooth dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct for food, beverages, and special requests Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine selections, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients to provide informed recommendations Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times in compliance with health regulations Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to uphold a clean and organized environment Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including wine, spirits, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing tabs efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest experience Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
