Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments securely Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food handling Support food preparation and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth service flow Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently Demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocols, alcohol service regulations, and sanitation practices Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with fine dining experience preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other digital ordering platforms like OpenTable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine approach Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and safe alcohol service practices Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
