Overview Join our dedicated team as a Full-Time Server in an Assisted Living community, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. You will be responsible for delivering nutritious, well-presented meals while adhering to dietary requirements and safety standards. Responsibilities Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist with food preparation and presentation, including portioning and plating meals in accordance with dietary guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas, following strict food safety protocols. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including ovens, dishwashers, and serving utensils. Adhere to dietary requirements and special diets for residents, ensuring accurate meal delivery. Support the dietary department by handling food safely, managing manual handling tasks, and practicing safe lifting techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and uphold workplace safety standards at all times. Requirements Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of food production, meal preparation, and food handling procedures. Strong time management skills to coordinate meal service efficiently while managing multiple tasks. Ability to work with geriatric patients and understand their specific dietary needs. Commitment to workplace safety practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use, manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices. Certifications such as CPR are advantageous but not mandatory Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
