This is a full-time opportunity for someone who understands the rhythm, precision, and personal touch that define an exceptional counter-service experience. The right candidate is warm, poised, detail-oriented, and confident guiding guests through a refined Japanese dining experience. Responsibilities Provide gracious, attentive, and highly personalized service throughout the omakase experience. Guide guests through the menu, explaining dishes, ingredients, and service progression with confidence and care. Anticipate guest needs while maintaining an elegant, unhurried service flow. Work closely with the chef team, beverage team, and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless execution. Maintain full knowledge of menu items, seasonal ingredients, Japanese dining customs, and beverage offerings. Accurately enter orders, process payments, and follow service and closing procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and polished service station and dining area. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, hospitality, and teamwork. Qualifications At least 2 years of Japanese omakase service experience required. Previous experience in fine dining, tasting-menu, or chef's-counter service strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, service etiquette, and guest-facing hospitality. Knowledge of sake, Japanese spirits, and beverage pairings is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional presence. Ability to remain composed, organized, and attentive during detailed service. Full-time availability required.
