Constellation The Role at a glance: We are looking to add an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Server to our Constellation Events team in Philadelphia, PA. This role provides the opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to the success of various high-profile events.
Compensation:
$20 an hour. What you'll be doing:
Guest Engagement:
Provide a warm, welcoming experience by greeting guests, explaining menu offerings, and responding to special requests.
Table Service:
Take and deliver orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attentiveness to guest preferences.
Food & Beverage Assistance:
Serve plated meals, appetizers, and beverages while maintaining proper portion control and presentation.
Setup & Breakdown:
Prepare event spaces, including setting tables, arranging décor, and ensuring proper seating layouts. Assist in post-event breakdown and cleanup.
Compliance & Safety:
Follow all food handling, health, and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout service.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service execution.
Problem-Solving:
Address guest concerns in a professional manner and proactively anticipate their needs. What we're looking for:

Ability to perform well in fast-paced, dynamic event environments.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience:
At least one year of food service experience in catering, banquets, fine dining, or a high-volume restaurant setting.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with formal dining etiquette and event service techniques.
Certifications:
