Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and accurately to our guests, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Servsafe Food Handlers Certificate is required and can be completed on site. This is a tipped position with a base hourly rate.
Availability Hours needed:
4pm - 10pm Must be able to work at least 3-5 days a week Weekdays, weekends and holidays Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete before delivery. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes. Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction. Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed. Support banquet services during special events by delivering food and beverages as required. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in culinary or hotel settings is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
