The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Toast POS are highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, fine dining environment where hospitality and guest relations are paramount. Responsibilities Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining a clean dining area. Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and fostering positive guest relations. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or serving tasks as needed. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during shifts. Available to work daylight and evening shifts. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred. Experience in customer service, guest relations, or host/host roles is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
