5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Weekend Availability Required Job Overview Shipley Do-Nuts is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing customer transactions, preparing and serving orders, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting with daily restaurant operations. This is a fast-paced position that requires reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to provide friendly service throughout each shift. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service Take customer orders accurately and prepare orders for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru service Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash and electronic payments Serve donuts, kolaches, beverages, and other menu items Package orders accurately and efficiently Prepare beverages and other front-counter items as needed Restock products, supplies, cups, lids, napkins, condiments, and other service items Maintain clean and organized counters, dining areas, beverage stations, and work areas Complete assigned opening, shift, and closing duties Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Work cooperatively with other team members during busy service periods Perform other reasonable duties related to restaurant operations as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable and punctual attendance Friendly and professional customer-service skills Ability to accurately handle cash and customer transactions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions, policies, and food-safety procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a team Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required Must obtain and maintain any food-handler certification required for the position Schedule & Availability This position is full-time , with typical shifts from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Weekend availability, including Sundays, is required. Applicants should be able to reliably report for early-morning shifts and work the schedule assigned for the position.
