Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and tips Recommend menu items, including wine pairings and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest experience Serve food and beverages promptly, including spirits and cocktails, ensuring presentation standards are met Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations Handle guest inquiries professionally, fostering positive guest relations and resolving issues promptly Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry Experience with food handling, serving alcohol responsibly, and maintaining guest relations in hospitality settings Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, hosting/hostess duties, and food preparation support Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences!
