Overview Join our dynamic team for Round Top's Antique week as a Server/Cashier and become the heart of the food and beverage program at Marburger Farm! In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage handling, and seamless transaction processing. Your energetic approach and passion for hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting smooth concession operations. SHORT TERM
October 20 - 31st. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Process all sales transactions accurately using Toast POS system, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing tabs. Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and fostering positive guest relations. Support beverage service by preparing drinks with knowledge of spirits and wine pairings while ensuring responsible alcohol service. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or bar experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems or the ability to quickly learn. Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple needs efficiently during peak hours. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transactions processing. Demonstrated customer service excellence with a friendly attitude and guest-focused approach. Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and calculating totals confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry. ServSafe and TABC certified.
