The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly and efficiently to our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food service, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and guest needs. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer inquiries or concerns. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and culinary practices. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. Experience in banquet settings or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Must be able to lift heavy trays.
