restaurant foraged. at patowmack farm is a hyper-seasonal restaurant located in lovettsville, virginia, overlooking the potomac river. we are looking for a dedicated and reliable server assistant to join our front-of-house team. as a server assistant, you will play an important role in helping service run smoothly. this position supports the servers, helps maintain the dining room, assists with food and beverage service, and helps create a warm and thoughtful experience for our guests. our restaurant is built around what is growing on the farm, what we are foraging, preserving, and sourcing from local farmers, fishermen, and producers. because our menu changes often, we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, pays attention to detail, and enjoys being part of a team. the farm is a major part of what we do. our dining experience is directly connected to the land around us, and the service team plays an important role in helping share that story with our guests.

responsibilities:

assist servers with setting up tables and preparing the dining room for service clear and reset tables promptly and carefully refill water glasses and assist with beverage service help run food and drinks to tables communicate with servers, food runners, and the kitchen to keep service moving smoothly maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room and service areas support guest needs with a friendly and professional attitude assist with side work, polishing, restocking, and closing duties help with any additional tasks assigned by the management team requirements: previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required must be reliable, responsible, hardworking, and punctual must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team attention to detail and care for the guest experience knowledge of food service, bussing, or hospitality is a plus compensation: this is a tipped position, with starting pay between $8 and $10 per hour, plus tips. while previous experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person. if you are interested in hospitality, seasonal food, and being part of a restaurant connected to the farm, restaurant foraged. at patowmack farm could be a great place to grow.
