Duties Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, including food, spirits, wines, and cocktails. Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards. Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, following food safety protocols. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through friendly recommendations. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Support opening or closing procedures as required, including inventory checks and restocking supplies. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing. Extensive cocktail experience with knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, and beverage presentation techniques. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly. Culinary experience or food industry background preferred to better understand menu offerings and food safety standards. Knowledge of openTable reservation system is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently. Experience working in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous for adapting to different atmospheres. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety compliance.
