Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Busser/Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests! In this vital role, you will support the front-of-house operations by ensuring the cleanliness of dining areas, efficiently delivering food to tables, and assisting servers to provide exceptional guest service. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly and accurately using proper food running techniques. Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing as needed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices. Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks when required. Ensure all food safety standards are met by adhering to proper food handling procedures. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs, providing friendly in-person customer service at all times. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including bussing or food running roles. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and transaction processing. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Experience working in banquet settings or hotel hospitality environments is a plus. Enthusiasm for culinary arts, cooking, or hospitality industries that enhances guest experiences.
