Job Description

Indiana Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our hotel's HR operations and help create an engaging, compliant, and people-focused workplace. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who enjoys supporting employees, maintaining organization, and partnering with leadership. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for new hires Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policy and labor laws Support payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping processes Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation Coordinate training programs, compliance requirements, and HR audits Support performance management, attendance tracking, and corrective action documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Partner with department leaders to support staffing needs and HR initiatives Qualifications Previous HR experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience strongly preferred Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and confidentiality standards Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and other benefits Paid time off and holiday pay Hotel travel discounts Opportunities for growth within a hospitality-focused organization Supportive team culture and hands-on leadership Beginning with the first hotel in 1985, Indiana Hospitality Group has grown to become a substantial participant in the industry.
