Full Job Description Payroll & Benefits Administrator Location:
Fountain Valley, CA Pay:
$26.13-$38.55/hr. We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support payroll processing, HRIS administration, and employee benefits programs in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong payroll, HR systems, and 401(k) administration experience. Key Responsibilities Serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll and monthly expatriate payroll processing Maintain HRIS and time/attendance systems, including reporting, troubleshooting, and system updates Administer 401(k) enrollments, loans, rollovers, compliance testing, and employee communications Support wellness and employee benefits programs Process payroll adjustments, garnishments, deductions, and reconciliations Generate payroll, labor cost, and HR audit reports Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, company policies, and government regulations Coordinate with ADP, Finance, HR, and external vendors Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 4-6 years of HR, payroll, benefits, or HRIS experience 5+ years of direct payroll experience preferred Strong knowledge of payroll processing, HRIS systems, and 401(k) administration Experience with ADP, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and data reconciliation Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Minimal travel up to 10% Employee Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance | 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans | Employee Assistance Program (EAP) | Commuter/Parking Accounts | People Perks | Health Savings Account (HSA) | AD & D Insurance If you are a detail-oriented payroll and HR professional looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential, click "" to be considered for this Payroll & Benefits Administrator position in Fountain Valley, CA.
