INTERNAL CAREER SITE
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing Leaves of Absence and assists with the coordination of employee benefit enrollments, claims and payroll discrepancies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
includes but not limited to: Provides employees with guidance and support on all employee benefits, company retirement program, Leaves of Absence, etc. Assists in the administration of the company retirement program Responsible for the administration and tracking of Leaves of Absence and Workers Compensation Assists with the processing of death claims
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees employees enrollments in benefit programs Complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Assists in supervising and training the
Benefits Representatives Minimum Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of experience in benefits administration
Competencies :
Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills Intermediate knowledge of Infinium, Word, Excel and Outlook Must be able to obtain and hold a Notary Public certification Knowledge of Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) law administration Knowledge of Mohegan Sun's insurance packages and 401(k)/retirement plan
Training Requirements:
Must complete appropriate Human Resources Training courses Ability to navigate in Infinium and understand where information is stored Ability to navigate the HR portal and Manager Self Service system Must become HIPAA certified
