Implementation Specialist I Staff Benefits Management and Administrators - 4.7 San Diego, CA Job Details Full-time $24 - $27 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description SBMA, a third-party administrator, is an affordable ACA-compliant benefits provider to thousands of employers. Their goal is to simplify the complexity of providing employee benefits. SBMA is different because of its personal service, speed of implementation, and innovative approach to benefits coverage. SBMA is currently seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. This position reports to the Implementation Supervisor. Qualified candidates will possess the ability to pay attention to detail, learn and use new computer systems and software, be self-motivated, and work well in collaborative environments. At least one year of medical benefits-related insurance experience is preferred but not required. This person will support the implementation team with onboarding new and existing clients, connecting with the proper vendors based on group offerings, detailed vendor paperwork, working in multiple systems, and broker communication.

Support the implementation team with onboarding new and existing clients Implementation with external vendors based on plan offerings Communication via email with broker partners and clients Working in multiple systems including but not limited to Salesforce, El Dorado, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Office, SQL server, etc. Various audits via Excel Department projects as needed This description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required Prior experience working in an administrative/office setting Prior insurance experience, preferred Prior medical benefits-related insurance experience, preferred Prior experience with Dropbox, preferred Prior experience with Wrike, preferred Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, preferred Prior experience with El Dorado database, preferred Prior experience with SQL server, preferred
Other Qualifications:
Familiarity with managing projects Detail oriented Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well independently on assigned duties and collaborate effectively with a team Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
