Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Compensation Benefits Program Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Castaic, CA. This management-level role is ideal for a strategic Total Rewards professional who can design, lead, and continuously improve compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and HR analytics programs within a manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data, strategy, compliance, and business partnership to shape programs that support employee engagement, retention, pay equity, and organizational growth. The role works closely with leadership, HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and business partners to deliver scalable Total Rewards solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy aligned with business objectives, talent priorities, and organizational growth.
- Lead compensation program design and administration, including salary structures, job evaluations, market pricing, incentive programs, annual compensation planning, and pay equity initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight of employee benefits, retirement, wellness, leave, recognition programs, vendor management, renewals, open enrollment, and employee communications.
- Build and manage Total Rewards analytics, workforce metrics, compensation models, and executive dashboards to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to compensation, benefits, retirement plans, leave programs, wage and hour requirements, and pay practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve Total Rewards processes, systems, reporting, communication, and the overall employee experience. Compensation and Benefits

Location:
Castaic, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Lead compensation and benefits strategy, administration, analytics, and compliance programs.
- Manage salary structures, market pricing, incentive programs, job evaluations, and pay equity initiatives.
- Oversee benefits, retirement, wellness, leave, recognition, vendor management, renewals, and open enrollment.
- Develop Total Rewards reporting, workforce metrics, dashboards, and compensation models for leadership decision-making.
- Management-level experience in compensation, benefits, Total Rewards, or a closely related Human Resources function.
- Strong knowledge of compensation design, benefits administration, pay practices, HR analytics, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting compensation and benefits programs in a complex business environment, preferably within manufacturing or an operational workforce setting.
- Ability to interpret market data, evaluate roles, model compensation scenarios, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations related to compensation, benefits, leave, retirement plans, wage and hour, and pay equity.
- Excellent communication, consultation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to advise leaders and partner across HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, and business teams.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-focused with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, production, or operational business environment.
- Experience with HRIS, compensation planning tools, benefits systems, and reporting platforms.
- Background supporting annual compensation planning, open enrollment, vendor renewals, and executive-level Total Rewards reporting.
- Knowledge of California employment requirements related to compensation, benefits, leave, wage and hour, and pay practices.
