Must have Management experience with IHS or Supportive Housing.
Hours:
8:30am-4:30pm Monday 11:00am-7:00pm Tuesday 11:00am-7:00pm Wednesday 11:00am-7:00pm Thursday 8:30am-4:30pmFriday Job Type:
Oversees all staff and residents the supportive housing program The group home, IHS and Supportive Housing provides services to intellectually disabled adults. Full time salary. Direct care hours mandatory. Some flexing of hours and days required.Job Requirements:
Supervise the direct support professionals Supervise the planning and implementation of all aspects of individual support plans, including formal behavior support plans, teaching strategies, protocols, etc. to meet the needs and preferences of the individual. Supervise and schedule staff to work to assure adequate support for individual per the plans of those living in the home. Conduct performance evaluations, provide opportunities for career growth, conduct consultations and disciplinary meetings as necessary. Ability and qualifications to train staff. Implement The Arc of Southington policies and procedures as well as agency systems and operations. Oversee and be accountable for the program budgets and the individuals' personal finances. Ensure that all necessary medical information is documented and that all follow through occurs. Carry an on-call cell phone and have the ability to return all phone calls Maintain the home and all records per licensing/quality assurance regulations. .Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years of experience working directly with intellectually disabled individuals At least 1 year of management experience Good written, computer and verbal communication skills Valid CT driver license and insurability Ability to lift 50 lbs.
