Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations for a Contract position based in California. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, administrative coordination, and helping maintain efficient people processes. The person in this role will assist with onboarding materials, recordkeeping, job posting support, and payroll-related data tasks while providing dependable administrative support to the HR team. Hours - 9am to 1pm
Mon-FriResponsibilities:
  • Create, update, and help manage employment postings to support ongoing hiring needs.
  • Prepare onboarding packets, binders, and related HR documents for new team members.
  • Enter and organize payroll-related information with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including document handling and routine clerical support.
  • Maintain employee files, records, and HR documentation in an orderly and confidential manner.
  • Assist with pre-employment and onboarding activities, including screening coordination and status tracking.
  • Support HR systems and data entry activities to help keep personnel information current.
  • Take on additional administrative and human resources tasks as business needs change.
