Director of Human Resources & Director of Operations Position Summary Cattleya LLC is seeking a highly organized, professional, and collaborative Human Resources & Operations Coordinator to support the daily functions of both the Human Resources and Operations departments. This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership support team by helping ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently, employees are supported, and agency policies and procedures are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and address workplace concerns in a fair, professional, and unbiased manner. Essential ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities. Prepare offer letters, new hire paperwork, and employee personnel files. Maintain employee records within the HRIS and ensure all documentation remains current and compliant. Monitor employee licenses, certifications, required training, and annual compliance requirements. Assist with employee relations matters, disciplinary documentation, investigations, and corrective actions. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information. Support HR audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, DDS, and agency requirements. Operations Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations. Assist with implementing operational policies, procedures, and workflow improvements. Coordinate communication between departments to promote teamwork and operational efficiency. Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, operational reporting, and special projects. Prepare meeting agendas, maintain meeting minutes, and track follow-up items. Support operational audits and quality assurance initiatives. Maintain operational records and assist with agency compliance activities. Leadership & Team Support Promote respectful, professional communication throughout the organization. Collaborate effectively with leadership, supervisors, and staff across all departments. Assist in resolving workplace conflicts in a professional, objective, and unbiased manner. Model accountability, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork. Help foster a positive workplace culture built on trust, respect, and collaboration. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent combination of education, professional training, certifications, and relevant Human Resources and Operations experience will be considered. Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources, Operations, Administration, or a related leadership support role. Experience in healthcare, human services, or a DDS provider agency strongly preferred. Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, employee relations, and compliance requirements. Experience using Microsoft Office and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel between agency locations as needed. Ability to travel between the Bloomfield and New Britain office locations as needed. Required to report to the New Britain office a minimum of one (1) day per week , with additional travel between locations as business needs require. Work Environment This position works primarily in an office environment with regular interaction with leadership, supervisors, employees, and program staff. The Human Resources & Operations Coordinator is expected to demonstrate professionalism, maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and provide exceptional support while helping both Human Resources and Operations function efficiently across multiple office locations.
