Assist with craft recruiting, onboarding, and field communication. Support unemployment claims, verification of employment, and other administrative tasks. Maintain compliance of employee files in accordance with company standards and applicable regulations. Assist with open enrollment coordination and craft employee education in the field. Assist employees with health insurance and 401(k) form completion and conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support the planning and coordination of events for craft employees. Build relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and technical training institutions Qualifications Bilingual Spanish/English High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred. Working towards an HR designation preferred. Some co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred. Basic understanding of HRPD-related principles, practices, procedures and employment legislation. Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixedorganization. Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines. Basic understanding of training and facilitation coordination. Basic networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks. Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines. Knowledge of change management methodologies an asset. Demonstrated critical-thinking skills. Ability to recognize employee relations issues that need coaching.
