ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on an administrative level and works closely with all store personnel. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and risk management. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Complete all incoming and outgoing mail daily. Answer the phones and forward to the correct department. Fulfil office supply orders monthly, or as needed. Responsible for being the point of contact for the office's cleaning service. Responsible for coordinating the ordering and scheduling of the birthday and holiday. celebrations at the corporate office. Assist in the completion of weekly, monthly, and annual reports for the HR department. Complete scanning and uploading of documents regularly. Perform audits as needed for the department. Ability to maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of information involved in the department. Special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year of office/secretarial experience High School Diploma Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Present a professional demeanor at all times Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
