Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/HR Administrator to join our team. This role includes all accounting and financial functions including daily receivables, payables, cash management, bank reconciliation, general journal entries, month and year end closings and financial statement preparation. Also responsible for administration of payroll, benefits and compliance. Entrusted with confidential information requiring discretion in all aspects of the position. Duties Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using a proprietary accounting software Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of debits and credits Oversee payroll processing, including employee time tracking, deductions, and compliance with payroll regulations HR administrative functions such as maintaining employee records, processing new hire documentation, and assisting with onboarding procedures Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. Familiarity with manufacturing preferred Strong proficiency in accounting software Solid understanding of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements Excellent skills in spreadsheets (Excel) for data analysis and reporting Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines Strong organizational skills combined with clear communication abilities This is a full-time, long term position offering the opportunity to become a key member of our management team.
