- Center for Nursing Workforce Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant
- Center for Nursing Workforce at its Detroit campus location.
Unique duties:
Collect and review registration, evaluation, and survey data. Perform data management which includes database management, data collection, auditing, analysis, interpretation, and reporting. Assist evaluation team with summarizing/organizing data to be used in preparing and presenting presentations for community, professionals, grant funding opportunities and conferences. Assist in the designing of data collection instruments, develop surveys, evaluation reports. Evaluate and present data using graphs, charts or tables to highlight the key outcome results of the program. Perform literature reviews, summarize findings, and present findings to evaluation committee. Provide assistance to the Program Directors on the input of data for the MDHHS quarterly progress reports. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, preferred. Requires advanced knowledge predominantly intellectual in character in a field of science or learning acquired by a prolonged course of specialized intellectual instruction.Experience:
Entry level (less that a year of job-related experience) Experience performing basic research techniques or interacting with human subjects, preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently. Ability to analyze, summarize and interpret research findings and data in reports and spreadsheets and communicate results. Knowledge of scientific integrity principles. Excellent time management and organization skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with others in a collaborative environment. Microsoft office software skills.Preferred qualifications:
Education Bachelor's degreeBachelor's degree in related field of study, (nursing, public health, community health, education, statistics), especially coursework in survey research. Working toward a Master's degree is an advantage. Experience Entry level (less that a year of job-related experience)Experience with workforce development, performing basic analytical techniques, experience working in clinical education is helpful.
