This role serves as a key partner to field leadership and hourly team members, helping ensure a positive employee experience while supporting critical HR and administrative functions on-site.
Schedule:
7:00 AM start time to align with field operations. What You'll Do Serve as the primary HR and administrative resource for assigned project sites Support field leadership with day-to-day workforce and personnel needs Process and audit employee timekeeping to ensure payroll accuracy Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre-employment requirements and new hire readiness Process employee transfers, promotions, pay changes, and offboarding activities Assist with employee relations matters and escalate concerns when appropriate Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews and building local talent pipelines Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting Assist with compliance initiatives, audits, apprenticeship programs, and special projects Support DOT and workforce development programs as needed What We're Looking For 1-2 years of administrative, HR, payroll, or workforce coordination experience preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and follow-up skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Bilingual Spanish and/or Creole is a plus Construction industry experience is preferred but not required Why Moss?
