Job Description

Internship Opportunity:
Human Resources / Talent Acquisition Intern Onboarding & Orientation Support BRC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition team with onboarding, orientation, and recruitment coordination efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience in HR operations, employee engagement, and recruitment logistics within a mission-driven nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, adaptable, and comfortable interacting with new hires, staff, and candidates in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare onboarding and orientation materials for new hires Assemble and package employee welcome kits and swag items Support the coordination and execution of new hire orientation sessions Ensure orientation rooms, technology, supplies, and logistics are fully prepared Assist with taking employee photos for ID badges and internal systems Help ensure all required onboarding paperwork and employment forms are completed accurately and on time Track onboarding documentation and follow up on missing items Assist the recruitment team with interview scheduling and candidate coordination Communicate professionally with candidates, new hires, and internal staff Support general HR administrative projects and special assignments as needed Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and candidate information Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset Interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or employee experience Preferred Skills Experience coordinating events, meetings, or administrative processes Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills What You'll Gain Exposure to HR operations and onboarding processes within a large nonprofit organization Experience supporting recruitment and employee engagement initiatives Professional development and networking opportunities Hands-on experience in a collaborative HR environment This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, or Organizational Development.
