The HR Assistant will support recruiting efforts, coordinate onboarding activities, and maintain accurate employee records across multiple eastern U.S. locations. - Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and tracking applicant progress in Workday.
- Assist with onboarding by preparing new hire materials, processing paperwork, and ensuring timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, including personnel files and documentation such as I-9s.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including E-Verify requirements.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and support site and community events.
Job Requirements What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, recruiting coordination, or administrative support.
- High School Diploma required
What Sets You Apart:
- Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of employment compliance requirements, including I-9, E-Verify, and labor laws.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using an HRIS such as Workday.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
