PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation and aerospace industry, to hire a Human Resources Assistant Pre-Employment Investigations Associate in Irving, Texas.

In this highly visible HR role, you'll help create a seamless, customer-focused onboarding experience for new hires. Serving as a primary point of contact throughout the pre-employment investigation process, you'll collaborate with candidates, hiring managers, recruiters, Security teams, and external vendors to help ensure new employees are cleared and ready to begin their careers.

What You'll Do

As a Human Resources Assistant, you'll play an important role in moving candidates successfully through the pre-employment process.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Engage with pre-hires throughout the pre-employment process, provide status updates, answer questions, and gather additional information as needed.
  • Partner with Recruiting, Security, and other internal teams to help clear candidates to start on time and inpliance with government regulations andpany policies.
  • Initiate and track pre-employment investigations, including background checks and drug screenings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise throughout the pre-employment process.
  • Complete tasks within applicant tracking and onboarding systems, including Workday and ServiceNow, while ensuring documentation is accurate andplete.
  • Respond to a broad range of pre-employment investigation questions from internal and external stakeholders via phone, email, and text.
  • Maintain accurate records and document actions usinganizational systems and the Microsoft OfficeMicrosoft 365 suite.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase efficiency and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ad to assigned work schedules and support varying shifts as business needs require across multiple time zones.
  • Required Qualifications
We're looking for a motivated HR professional who brings:

Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience OR a high school diploma plus 6 years of related experience.

Previous Human Resources experience and knowledge, particularly related to Pre-Employment Investigations (PEI).

Strong customer service, problem-solving, and technology skills.

Excellent verbal and writtenmunication abilities.

Strong listening, reading, andprehension skills.

Proficiency with current workplace technology, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.

Broadband internet access at home and experience working with web-based tools and systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong judgment and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment withpeting deadlines.

Flexibility to work assigned schedules and varying shifts when necessary to support business needs across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

You'll stand out with:

Previous HR experience involving onboarding, staffing, recruiting, andor pre-employment investigations.

Experience working within an HR Service Center environment.

Demonstrated excellence inanization and time management.

A confident, professional phone presence and exceptional customer service skills.

Previous experience using Workday.

Previous experience using ServiceNow.

Previous experience using Amazon Connect.

Pay Details:

$42.19 per hour
