Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee daily HR operations and support the full employee lifecycle in a higher education environment. This role will advise managers, faculty, and staff on employee relations, HR policies, compliance, recruitment, performance management, and HR processes. The ideal candidate will have strong HR operational experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday . Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day HR operations and ensure efficient, responsive HR services. Advise managers, faculty, and staff on employee relations, performance management, corrective action, policies, and employment matters. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, leaves, and separations. Manage HR transactions and employee data in Workday , including hires, rehires, job changes, organizational updates, appointments, and terminations. Oversee position management, job profiles, compensation grades, and organizational structures within Workday. Manage Workday Recruiting and support HR technology enhancements, testing, integrations, and process improvements. Coordinate recruitment activities for staff, faculty, and adjunct positions. Coordinate benefits, workers' compensation, tuition remission, and related employee programs. Develop HR reports, metrics, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision-making and compliance. Develop and deliver training on HR policies, Workday processes, compliance, and employment practices. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, technology, efficiency, and employee experience. Participate in HR projects, audits, committees, and strategic initiatives. Provide cross-training and operational support to HR and Payroll functions as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of progressively responsible HR experience supporting the employee lifecycle. Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment regulations. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally. Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience , including day-to-day HR operations. 2+ years of supervisory, team-lead, or work-direction experience. Higher education HR experience supporting staff, faculty, and adjunct employees. Experience with Workday HCM, PeopleSoft, Vector Solutions , or similar systems. Experience with HR reporting, analytics, and process improvement. SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant HR certification preferred.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT
Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington.

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
