HR Manager On-Site - Wilmington, DE Position Summary The HR Manager reports to the Human Resources Director and serves as the primary HR contact for assigned divisions within the company. This is a hands-on role responsible for owning the full scope of HR operations within assigned business units, including employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, recruiting, payroll coordination, performance management, training, and employee engagement. The HR Manager becomes the subject matter expert on the specific benefits package and HR needs of the divisions they oversee, ensuring employees receive knowledgeable, responsive support. This role carries a significant administrative workload and requires someone who is equally comfortable developing workforce strategy and processing day-to-day HR transactions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of human resources experience with responsibility across employee relations, leave administration, recruiting, payroll coordination, benefits, and compliance, including experience managing HR across multiple business units or locations. Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and multi-function HR operations. Experience with ADP Workforce Now, applicant tracking, and learning management systems. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities across assigned client groups with a high level of confidentiality and judgment. Preferred Qualifications HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar. Experience supporting multi-site or operational business units. Experience in real estate, property management, food and beverage, construction, or related industries.
