Position Summary The People Development Manager is responsible for attracting, recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent across the organization. This position partners with company leadership to build a high-performing workforce by leading recruiting efforts, onboarding new employees, developing future leaders, coordinating training programs, and strengthening company culture. This individual serves as a champion for employee growth, ensuring every team member has the tools, coaching, and opportunities needed to succeed while helping the organization build a strong leadership pipeline. Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition Develop and execute recruiting strategies for crew, management, and leadership positions. Build relationships with schools, colleges, community organizations, and workforce development programs. Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process. Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future staffing needs. Monitor recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, applicant flow, and hiring success. Leadership Development Identify high-potential employees for advancement. Manage leadership development programs for shift managers, department managers, and general managers. Work with supervisors to develop individualized growth plans. Coordinate succession planning for key leadership positions. Training & Coaching Partner with operations leadership to identify training needs. Coordinate workshops, leadership classes, and coaching sessions. Track training completion and effectiveness. Employee Engagement & Culture Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Lead employee recognition programs, celebrations, and engagement initiatives. Support employee retention through regular follow-up and coaching. Assist with conflict resolution and employee relations when appropriate. Performance & Talent Management Partner with leaders on performance improvement plans and employee development. Assist in career planning and internal promotions. Analyze turnover trends and recommend strategies to improve retention. Maintain employee development records and training documentation.
