This is a hands on role with overall site responsibility for the HR function, delivering HR standards and programs defined by corporate centers of excellence while identifying local solutions that drive teammate engagement. The Plant HR Manager has one direct report (HR Generalist) and serves as a key member of the Plant Management Team, acting as an advisor to the Plant Manager. Schedule Full time. Compensation $105,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience. What You'll Do The Plant HR Manager will support business strategy through the execution of end to end HR solutions and corporate initiatives, participate as part of the plant leadership team, and provide coaching and guidance on complex employee relations issues to develop resolutions and improve teammate performance. This person will design and reinforce site specific HR policies, standards, and procedures in line with legislative requirements and industry best practices, track HR metrics and KPIs, and notify the Plant Manager and functional manager of any non compliance. The role includes developing and implementing training matrices and plans in conjunction with department heads per TS16949 requirements and TWI methodology, and delivering in house training as needed. This person will facilitate screening, testing, interviewing, and selection for open positions in partnership with hiring managers, maintain the applicant and talent pool in compliance with regulatory boards including the EEOC, and administer onboarding for new and transferred teammates. The Plant HR Manager will guide the management team on performance practices, administer the Performance Management and Development System, and deploy the talent management model, including the 9 Box tool, to identify high potentials and ensure development plans are in place. Additional responsibilities include maintaining awareness of regional salary, wage, and benefit trends, supporting Corporate Total Rewards programs, overseeing Total Rewards enrollment and recordkeeping through the HRIS, and providing feedback to Corporate on service provider quality. This role also manages teammate injury claims from report through return to work, maintains injury, illness, and workers' compensation records, reports HS&E statistics per corporate and regulatory requirements, acts as facility liaison for regulatory inspections, and establishes procedures encouraging teammates to report unsafe conditions without fear of discipline. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a Professional Human Resources designation (PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) 5+ years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of HR management with the ability to influence decision makers at multiple organizational levels Experience working in a matrix, global organization Preferred Qualifications HR experience specifically within the automotive industry Prior supervisory experience Working knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems Understanding of technical concepts, or willingness to learn technical skills relevant to a manufacturing environment Compensation and Benefits $105,000 to $120,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Paid time off To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
