The full salary range for this position is $88.587.20 - $107,785.60. Offers are made at the beginning of the range.Assignment/Location:
This position will is full time, year round .Regular attendance required:
employees are required to maintain regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position.Internal Applicants Only Essential Functions/Other Functions Essential Functions:
Manage employee leave of absence processes to ensure compliant, equitable, and efficient procedures. Participate in the development and implementation of leave systems & processes. Partner with the Director of Human Resources to manage internal Workers' Compensation processes for injured ESD 112 employees. Support the HR Coordinator in ensuring timely responses to requests for information and communications with the injured employee and their managers as applicable. Plan and coordinate recruitment, screening, selection, assignment, and other employment management activities for assigned programs. Partner with the Director of Human Resources to support personnel relations for ESD employees to include assisting program managers with performance management, employee discipline, and evaluation. Represent Human Resources on internal and external committees and work groups to advance department and agency initiatives. Manage assigned projects in support of these initiatives. Interpret and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, and ESD 112 policies and regulations. Provide consultation and assistance to program managers and agency & department leadership in support of their goals and objectives Mentor and support members of the Human Resources team as assigned. Conduct Human Resources training for ESD 112 staff. Maintain regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position.Other Functions:
Support recruitment and retention activities to include attending and participating in job fairs, community events and other recruitment and retention related activities as assigned. Serve as a back-up manager of the daily operation of the department. Other duties as assignedMinimum/Preferred Qualifications & Skills Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher and five years of successful professional Human Resources experience in an HR or related position. Experience managing employee leaves of absence. Experience with employee recruitment and selection. Experience using Microsoft Office programs and Human Resources Information Systems.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an education, not-for-profit, or public sector organization. Experience working with and serving diverse populations. Understanding of federal and state employment laws; to include those related to employee leave.Working Conditions/Employment Requirements Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
