Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic organization as a Human Resources Manager! Due to the continued growth of Great North Hospitality Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources professional to serve as a key partner to the Director of Human Resources. This role will work side-by-side with HR leadership to support and execute all aspects of the HR function across a fast-paced, multi-location hospitality organization. This position plays a critical role in enhancing both the employee experience and overall customer experience by ensuring our teams are supported, trained, and positioned to deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Culture Champion a people-first culture that directly supports exceptional guest experiences across all locations Partner with operations leadership to ensure teams are trained, engaged, and aligned with service expectations Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement as a driver of customer satisfaction and brand consistency HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Manage and support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and separation Serve as a primary HR resource for managers and team members across all locations Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations matters Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Partner with operations leadership to identify staffing needs and workforce strategies Develop and enhance employer branding and recruitment processes Training, Development & Leadership Growth Design, implement, and support training and development programs Assist in building leadership development initiatives for management teams Reinforce service standards through consistent training and coaching Performance Management & Employee Relations Oversee performance management processes including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions Partner with leadership to address employee relations issues with professionalism and consistency Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on complex HR matters Payroll & Benefits Administration Oversee and/or process bi-weekly payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, changes, and employee education Partner with finance on payroll reporting, reconciliation, and compliance Compliance & HR Administration Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HRIS systems Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and standard operating procedures Reporting, Analytics & Continuous Improvement Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support business decisions Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies Participate in audits, projects, and strategic HR initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required Experience in a multi-unit or fast-paced environment strongly preferred (hospitality industry a plus, but not required) Strong working knowledge of HR laws, payroll processes, and best practices Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paylocity or similar preferred) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
