Job Description
Job Summary A temp-to-hire HR opportunity is available in Fontana, CA for an experienced human resources professional who enjoys supporting employees, partnering with managers, and keeping HR processes running smoothly. This HR role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience who can manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits support, compliance, records, and performance processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a professional, team-oriented workplace where HR plays an important role in employee engagement, positive workplace culture, and operational consistency. The right candidate will be a trusted resource for employees and leadership while helping maintain accurate HR systems, clear communication, and compliant HR practices. Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, interviewing coordination, candidate communication, and hiring support.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, employee records, and confidential HR documentation.
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, helping resolve workplace conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes, assist managers with performance improvement plans, and support employee development initiatives.
- Administer HR policies, benefits programs, compensation support activities, and required compliance reporting.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labor laws, employment regulations, and internal policies. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour.

Location:
Fontana, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits support, and HR compliance processes.
- Maintain accurate HR records and support HR systems administration.
- Coordinate performance management, training programs, employee engagement initiatives, and regulatory reporting.
- Partner with managers and employees to support a productive, compliant, and positive workplace.
- 3-5 years of human resources experience required.
- Experience managing recruiting processes, job postings, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
- Knowledge of employee relations practices, workplace conflict resolution, and performance management support.
- Understanding of HR policies, labor law compliance, employee records, confidentiality, and HR reporting.
- Experience supporting benefits administration, employee inquiries, compensation programs, and salary data analysis.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using HRIS, ATS, payroll, or employee records systems.
- Familiarity with California employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Prior experience supporting employee engagement, training coordination, or workforce development programs.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar credential is a plus.
