Job Summary We are seeking an HR Specialist for a contract/temporary opportunity in Rosemead, CA within the energy and utilities industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who enjoys supporting employees and leaders across a wide range of human resources functions, including employee records, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HR transactions. The HR Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for employee and manager inquiries while helping ensure HR processes are accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee and manager questions, requests, and HR case support.
- Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and employee data changes.
- Support benefits administration, open enrollment, qualifying life event changes, recruiting, offer letters, and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate new hire orientation, employee programs, offboarding, exit interviews, and performance review processes.
- Maintain accurate HR records, data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Provide timely customer service and escalate complex HR matters to the appropriate HR partners as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $52,000 to $56,160 per year.

- Support HR operations, employee inquiries, and HR case management processes.
- Process employee data changes, HR transactions, and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and performance management activities.
- Maintain HR records, confidentiality, compliance, and data accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of HR support experience.
- Knowledge of HR policies, HR procedures, and employment laws.
- Experience using HRIS systems and case management tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Typing speed of 40 or more words per minute.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SuccessFactors.
- Adaptable and quick to learn new systems, processes, and policies.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Effective team player with strong communication skills.
- Prior experience in HR operations, benefits administration, recruiting support, onboarding, or employee data management.
