Director of Human Resources We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Processor / HR Coordinator - ADP Specialist to manage payroll processing and support HR administration. This role requires strong hands-on ADP experience and the ability to process payroll accurately, resolve payroll issues, maintain employee records, and support HR functions in a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate must be highly comfortable working inside ADP, including employee setup, payroll processing, timecard review, deductions, vacations, direct deposit, tax forms, reports, pay changes, terminations, and payroll corrections. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately using ADP Manage employee payroll records directly in ADP, including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, deductions, tax forms, direct deposit, and employee status changes Review and verify timecards, overtime, vacation, holiday pay, per diem, reimbursements, deductions, garnishments, and payroll adjustments Identify, research, and correct payroll discrepancies before payroll is submitted Generate and review ADP payroll reports for accuracy before final approval Maintain accurate payroll records and support payroll audits as needed Assist with onboarding new employees, including I-9s, W-4s, direct deposit forms, policy acknowledgments, and employee file setup Support HR functions including employee files, benefits paperwork, vacation tracking, workers' compensation documentation, and employment changes Respond to employee payroll questions in a professional and timely manner Coordinate with supervisors and management to correct missing hours, incorrect punches, pay issues, and employee information changes Assist with certified payroll, Davis-Bacon payroll, job costing, and construction-related payroll reporting when applicable Maintain confidentiality of all payroll, HR, and employee information Support additional HR, administrative, and accounting tasks as needed Required Qualifications Strong hands-on ADP payroll experience required Minimum 2-3 years of payroll processing experience required Experience processing payroll from start to finish Experience entering and maintaining employee information in ADP Experience with payroll reports, payroll corrections, pay changes, deductions, vacation, overtime, and direct deposit changes Basic HR experience required Strong understanding of hourly payroll, overtime rules, deductions, payroll adjustments, and employee recordkeeping Ability to work accurately under payroll deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors before payroll is processed Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and general office systems Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with ADP Workforce Now. Payroll experience in construction, contracting, field services, or another hourly workforce environment Experience processing payroll for field employees, crews, or multiple job sites Experience with certified payroll or Davis-Bacon payroll Experience with onboarding, I-9s, E-Verify, benefits, workers' compensation, vacations, and employee personnel files Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Do you have experience reviewing and correcting payroll issues involving overtime, PTO/vacation, holiday pay, deductions, garnishments, or payroll adjustments? Do you have experience with HR administrative functions such as onboarding, I-9s, E-Verify, employee files, benefits, or employee status changes? Do you have payroll experience in construction, contracting, field services, or another environment with field employees or multiple job sites? Do you have experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, or Davis-Bacon payroll requirements?
