AMMON Staffing is recruiting an experienced Payroll / HR Specialist for a full-time position in Geismar, LA.

PREVAILING WAGE & CERTIFIED PAYROLL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who has hands-on experience processing payroll with multiple pay rates, overtime calculations, prevailing wage requirements, and certified payroll reporting. This is not an entry-level payroll position. The right candidate will be able to step in and handle payroll accurately with minimal training.

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications Responsibilities Process weekly payroll accurately and on time Process payroll involving multiple pay rates and overtime Apply government prevailing wage requirements Prepare and submit certified payroll reports Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate employee and payroll records Handle confidential payroll and employee information Provide HR and administrative support as needed Meet strict payroll deadlines in a fast-paced office environment Required Experience Hands-on payroll processing experience Experience with prevailing wage payroll Experience preparing certified payroll reports Experience processing employees with multiple pay rates Strong understanding of overtime calculations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and computer skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Stable employment history Ideal Candidate We need someone who can hit the ground running . This is a busy office, and payroll deadlines cannot wait. You should be comfortable handling detailed payroll work, working with multiple pay rates and requirements, identifying discrepancies, and getting the job completed accurately and on time.
