GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

The Human Resources Generalist is a trusted HR partner responsible for independently managing day-to-day Human Resources operations while delivering exceptional service to employees, managers, and candidates. This role administers recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, employee records, employee relations support, performance management administration, reporting, and HR process improvements. Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist ensures HR services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws while promoting Stancil Services' values of Team, Dedication, Resilience, and Fun.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS HR
Operations Manage day-to-day HR operations and provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers. Process weekly payroll and ensure compensation, tax, deduction, and benefit changes are entered accurately. Maintain employee personnel files, I-9 records, HRIS data, workers' compensation, EEO, and confidential medical records. Maintain HRIS data integrity and process employee personnel changes. Prepare payroll, HR, compliance, and management reports.

Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, leave, and employment verification. Maintain required labor law postings and HR documentation. Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws. Support continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinate recruiting activities including phone screens, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and applicant tracking. Assist in coordinating all onboarding activities including new hire paperwork, equipment requests, orientation logistics, and onboarding workflows. Conduct new hire orientation and explain company policies and procedures. Partner with hiring managers to provide outstanding candidate experience. Employee Experience Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers. Administer the performance review process. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events. Support leave administration and accommodation processes Compliance & Projects Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, qualifying events, and open enrollment. Maintain HR metrics, dashboards, SOPs, and department documentation. Administer and maintain The HUB, ensuring employee and manager requests are accurately tracked, prioritized, and resolved within established service levels. Monitor and manage HR requests submitted through The HUB, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution. Coordinate periodic HR audits, including personnel files, I-9 documentation, HRIS records, and compliance documentation. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, standardize workflows, and enhance the employee experience through continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and send HR communications and announcements. Participate in HR projects and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum four (4) years of progressive Human Resources experience. Experience in payroll, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, and HR compliance. Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Work performed primarily in an indoor office environment. Frequent use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment. Requires sitting, standing, talking, and listening throughout the day. May occasionally require climbing, reaching, or lifting up to 15 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 75% of the time. Office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, phones, and tablets. HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
