OVERVIEW
The Contract HR Consultant will provide critical coverage during a leave of absence. This role will support day-to-day HR operations, with a strong emphasis on recruitment, employee relations, and HR processes . The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HR experience and can thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic HR support with hands-on execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace matters. Provide guidance on performance management, including coaching and documentation. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. Contribute to HR projects and process improvements during the contract period. Provide benefits and open enrollment support Provide support on special projects
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with strong skills in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. Solid understanding of HR best practices, compliance requirements, and labor laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred. Professional, adaptable, and able to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish)
