Employee Services Generalist Location:
SF Bay Area, California (hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are partnering with a fast-paced organization seeking an Employee Services Generalist to support a six-month leave of absence and help keep HR operations running smoothly. This position plays an important part in delivering responsive employee support, managing transactional HR work, and assisting with open enrollment activities during a busy period for the team.
Responsibilities:
Manage escalated HR inquiries related to benefits, payroll, leaves, stock options, onboarding, exits, and international transfers. Process transactional HR tasks, including i9 support, basic benefit questions, and unemployment claims. Support open enrollment activities and host office hours to help employees understand questions and available information. Create, maintain, and improve work instructions, job aids, playbooks, and Tier 2 documentation to support efficient service delivery.
Required:
3-4+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar function. Strong understanding of employment and labor laws. Experience supporting open enrollment and working through employee questions during that process in an enterprise level environment. Proven ability to manage complex HR issues and apply processes effectively to unique scenarios.
