Our operations complete heavy highway and civil projects throughout Texas. Position Overview The Workforce Development Specialist will work with various departments and teams to ensure organization, execution, of the learning management system. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver workforce development programs and training sessions Provide support and guidance to program participants as they pursue their career goals Conduct research on best practices in workforce development Responsible for new hires OSHA training, Maintaining the learning management system Track and report on program outcomes Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications 1+ year experience Work experience Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset. Must be positive, friendly and professional. Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting. Must demonstrate professional communication in reaching out to employees and managers for needed documents. Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise. Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and complete them in a timely manner. Able to perform duties independently. Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas. Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required. Knowledge/Skill Requirements Entry Level Position Working Conditions Work will be performed in office setting- must be in (SELECT - Austin, San Antonio, etc.) area. Full time, hourly. May require availability for overtime hours. Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements. Requires periodic participation and attendance at company events and meetings. Benefits This position is Full Time. The pay structure for this role will be based on an hourly rate determined by experience. This position will qualify for the employee benefit program.
