Recruiting & People Operations Specialist

Job Description

Recruiting & People Operations Specialist All To Door Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, TX Job Details Full-time $50,000 - $62,000 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Spanish Spreadsheets Direct sourcing recruitment ATS Research Full cycle recruiting B2B Resume management software Process management Full Job Description About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Recruiting & People Operations Specialist to support the continued growth of our businesses in Texas. This is not a traditional administrative HR position . Recruiting will be the primary focus of this role. You will recruit across a wide range of positions, including warehouse associates, assembly workers, repair technicians, office staff, operations employees, and B2B sales professionals. In addition to filling open positions, we want this person to help us continuously improve how we identify, evaluate, hire, and retain good employees . This includes helping develop practical interview questions, skills tests, work-sample assessments, interview scorecards, and 30/60/90-day performance evaluation methods. We already have some internal incentive and performance programs in place. You will work with management to help measure, improve, and formalize these programs over time. If you enjoy finding good people, solving recruiting challenges, and building better hiring systems rather than simply processing HR paperwork, this position may be a strong fit. What You Will Do Recruiting & Talent Sourcing Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, manufacturing/assembly, repair technician, office, operations, and sales positions. Proactively source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, local networks, technical schools, community resources, staffing partners, and other recruiting channels. Build and maintain candidate pipelines for positions that are difficult to fill. Develop new recruiting channels instead of relying only on incoming applications. Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers. Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process and help improve offer acceptance rates. Develop recruiting strategies for both high-volume hourly positions and professional positions. Help build referral programs and other practical ways to continuously attract candidates. Hiring Assessment & Employee Selection Work with managers to define what success looks like for each position. Develop structured interview questions and interview scorecards. Help create practical skills tests, written assessments, and work-sample tests for different positions.
Examples may include:
Basic warehouse accuracy and problem-solving assessments. Assembly and SOP-following tests. Repair technician troubleshooting assessments. Office Excel, communication, and prioritization exercises. Sales role-play, customer research, cold-email, and prospecting exercises. Continuously review whether our hiring assessments actually predict employee performance and improve them when needed. Performance & People Operations Help develop and maintain 30/60/90-day evaluation programs for new employees. Work with managers to identify early performance issues and improvement needs. Track new-hire retention and quality of hire. Assist management in improving employee incentive, recognition, and performance programs. Help document HR and recruiting processes so they can be consistently followed across the company. Support basic HR operations including offer letters, onboarding, employee records, attendance-related processes, and general employee communication. Coordinate with outside HR, payroll, legal, or benefits professionals when specialized support is required. What We Are Looking For 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR/recruiting experience. Strong hands-on recruiting experience. Comfortable actively sourcing candidates rather than only reviewing applications. Experience recruiting for at least some combination of: Warehouse / logistics Manufacturing / assembly Skilled technicians / repair personnel Office / operations Sales / business development Strong communication and follow-up skills. Good judgment when evaluating candidates. Organized and able to manage multiple open positions at the same time. Comfortable working directly with company leadership and hiring managers. Able to work in a growing company where processes are continuously being improved. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and common recruiting platforms. Strong Plus Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, equipment, robotics, repair, or other technical environments. Experience recruiting B2B sales professionals. Experience with structured interviews, skills assessments, or work-sample testing. Experience creating or managing 30/60/90-day employee evaluation programs. Experience developing employee referral or incentive programs. Spanish language skills. Experience working in a small or mid-sized growing company. The Person Who Will Do Well Here You are probably a good fit if: You enjoy recruiting and talking to people. You are comfortable calling or messaging candidates directly. When a position is difficult to fill, your first response is to find another recruiting channel—not simply say that there are no candidates. You are curious about why some employees succeed and others do not. You enjoy turning hiring experience into better interview questions, tests, and evaluation tools. You are comfortable building processes from the ground up. You are practical, resourceful, and results-oriented. You want the opportunity to grow into a broader Talent Acquisition or People Operations leadership role as the company grows. How Success Will Be Measured Success in this position will not be measured simply by how many people are hired.
We will also look at:
Quality of hire. 30-day and 90-day retention. Hiring manager feedback. Time to fill critical positions. Strength of candidate pipelines. Development of new recruiting channels. Improvement of interview and assessment tools. Development of practical 30/60/90-day evaluation systems. Improvement of recruiting and employee incentive programs.
Compensation Base Salary:
$50,000-$62,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to recruiting quality, retention, successful hiring of critical positions, and improvement of our hiring and employee-development systems.
